Connect /kəˈnɛkt/ – bring together or into contact so that a real link/business relationship is established.
The 6th Edition of the Sports and Events Tourism Exchange will be hosted in a CONNECT format which is dedicated to maximising delegates networking and one-on-one meeting opportunities.
At Thebe Reed Exhibitions we take relationship brokering seriously and through the SETE Connect platform we will give delegates equal opportunity to attend the conference sessions and schedule one-on-one meetings with fellow delegates, industry stakeholders and international hosted buyers.
This will be the second year SETE takes place in the City of Tshwane and will run from the 25-27 October 2016 at the Protea Hotel Fire&Ice! Menlyn.

“Sports & events tourism is a growing global industry with significant economic implications for both the event and the impact of travel and tourism related benefits on host destinations.”
Since its inception SETE has become the meeting place for key decision-makers in the sports and events tourism industry to network, do business and debate issues of national importance affecting the growth of the sports and events tourism sector. International buyers from over 20 countries were hosted over the past five years resulting in business for the South African sports and events tourism industry.
SETE will again be hosting an International Hosted Buyer Programme to welcome pre-selected high caliber buyers to visit South Africa and interact with South African products and stakeholders in the sports and events tourism industries at SETE with the aim of securing more events business for South Africa.
